Churning Waters

Churning Waters is a unique intercultural, interdisciplinary collaboration between Indigenous Australian, Indian Australian and Indigenous Indian artists to create site specific performances. Inspired by Indian and Indigenous Australian knowledge about nature and with women at the centre of the performances, the project re-imagines water futures and climate change through dance, music and storytelling. It brings together respected cultural leaders and world renowned artists and performers from Victoria, the Northern Territory, Tamil Nadu and Assam.
This project is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
