Churning Waters is a unique intercultural, interdisciplinary collaboration between Indigenous Australian, Indian Australian and Indigenous Indian artists to create site-specific performances. Inspired by Indian and Indigenous Australian knowledge about nature and with women at the centre of the performances, the project re-imagines water futures and climate change through dance, music and storytelling. It brings together respected cultural leaders and world-renowned artists and performers from Victoria, the Northern Territory, Tamil Nadu and Assam.
This project is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
